Introduction
If you don't know what Telnet is, you probably don't want this. However, if you're new to things like UNIX System Accounts (Shell Accounts), MUDs, MOOs, MUCKs, or some similar thing, read on. Telnet is a protocol that has been in use on the Inernet for quite some time, in Internet years (Kinda like dog years, only inverted, divided by the square root of a hypotenuse, multiplied by π)
If you're looking to play games with this, there's probably something better, RB Telnet is primarily to see if i can make a decent Telnet program in REALbasic. You can play things like the LambdaMOO, and other muds, moos, mucks, whatever. Its primary purpose is to get me from My Mac to My UNIX Shell account, where I do things like chat with BitchX, check my email using Pine, and run a Hotline Server using hxd, the Hotline for UNIX Daemon. You probably have good reasons to use telnet too, I bet. :)
